If there is a topic about moving image archiving you feel very strongly about, or are working on a project that you think might interest other film archivists, send us an e-mail with the subject line: “Post submission: title of the proposal” at enquiries@thepeepingarchivist.com
Really, it is that easy!
We are open to various topics, as long as they pertain to the field of film archiving – not film history or reviewing – today.
For a post, we prefer texts of 500-1000 words.
Your proposal can also take on many forms: essay, video, podcast, images… Be creative! After all, this is the Internet, not an academic publication.
Don’t forget to include a short bio (with or without a picture) with your pitch, we’ll make sure to list you in our contributors’ page.
N.B. We encourage people who do not feel confident about writing in English to write in their own language. We hope that the Peeping Archivist will thereby become as diverse and inclusive as the moving image archive community.
